My driver side window made grinding sound when i put it down. It then got suck in down position. It still makes the sound when you press down, but nothing when you press up. The Passenger side is fine. How do you know if it's the motor? My blinkers also hardly ever work, sometimes coming on for Right when you pull left.

Driver window making a grounding sound then got stuck This is definetly a window motor regulator. Why both, for economic reason, The way its design its cable driven it got wedge now the motor is strained, replace it both or you will do it again in 2 to 3 month .and as for the signal you will need a combination switch.

Thanks for the extremely fast response. this one repair shop said the motor and regulator came together in an assembly, but i was skeptical.
