driver side power sliding door works only when door unlocked manually and will not lock electrically. is it the actuator or is it software mod? the manual button tries to move, but does not. if it is the actuator,how do you remove it?

you need to remove the inside door panel to test for voltage to the actuator. it is a common failure. after you secure the new one, you will see what it looks like and how it is secured.
