My mom needs her water pump replaced but when looking at water pump assembly they have a 6 bolt or a 11-bolt water pump. What is the difference between them?

Hi,

The one for your vehicle should have six bolt holes. I'm not sure what you are finding with 11 bolts. Is it showing the same engine size?

The pump on the 3.5L is driven by the timing belt. This is a somewhat large job. I attached the general directions below for the pump replacement. If you need help with the timing belt, let me know.

Take care,

Joe
