Hello, for the past few weeks the headlamps on my 2005 Chrysler 300 have been cutting off while driving and then coming back on. This occurs usually in just the first 5 minutes of driving and then it seems fine. The crazy part is, last night they cut off, and then I turned the switch off, and then the lights came on while the switch was in the off position. They ran this way for 10 or 15 minutes until I reached my destination. I had my local repair guy take a look at it last week and he said he ran tests on it and couldn't find anything, so he just cleaned the ground wires and didn't charge me anything. Any ideas?

Maybe control module fault. Headlights have self diagnostic ability dealer will need to do.
