I have a 2005 chevy trailblazer ls with a 4.2, The fuel pump went out so my brother changed it. We took it off the jacks and it fired right up, however now the gas pedal wont work or should I say wont respond. The gas pedal will push down just not respond. Any help would be appriciated.

Did you disconnect the battery? GM has cleverly designed in lots of things to cost you money after the sale and this is one of them. They want you to return to the dealer to have the computer unlocked or reprogrammed. This the famous "throttle-by-wire" system that put Toyota in the news last year. You do not want to mess with that yourself. When problems arise, you do not want to be party to the lawsuits. Leave that to the dealer.
