i have a monte carlo lt 2005 .when i turn on the heat all it does is blow cool air and no heat. what do i need to fix my problem.

The first thing you need to do is check and see if both heater hoses are getting too hot to hold going to your heater core at the firewall when the engine is at operating temp.
