THE STEERING BECOMES EXTREMELY STIFF ALL OF SUDDEN WHILE DRIVING, YOU HAVE TO STOP, TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND RE-START THE CAR FOR THE STEERING TO CORRECT ITSELF, ALSO IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT TO CHANGE YOU CAN FEEL THE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATE IF YOU MAKE ANY SMALL MOVEMENT

I would start by getting the power steering control modual scanned for codes.A diyer scan tool can't read that computer.
