just has my front brake replaced by an auto mechanic...recently.........my emergency brakes takes a lot of foot pressure to set the emergency brake and a lot of foot pressure to release it....my question...is that normal for the emergcy brake to be so tight to sert or released?never had that problem in the past....i have a 2005 chevy classic malibu

it should be high to be sure it holds. probably adjusted when the brakes were done
