every time i start my car after long sitting. it will show me warning "check alternator" and battery sign comes-up.. it is drives fine . it goes after driving for sometime.
i recently purchased it...

please help me !!

check battery condition including load test and have charging system checked.

battery is new... and about the charging system it's fine... if it would not charge then the battery would have died itself... this warning doesnt effect my driving condition in any way .

there is a fusible link connected to alternator, it may be on starter. it may be partially burned and without actually looking at it i can't think of anything to cause this. Maybe clean the battery terminals.
