2005 Chevrolet Kalos Tempreture Gage Does Move Only Car Idealing Will Normal

my tempreture gage does not move, only when the car is idealing and then it will go to normal tempreture but as i drive the car the tempgage falls back down result only luke warm air coming into the car from the heater

check coolant level. the thermostat may need to be replaced as well.
