Parking brake problem

The parking brake won't hold the car from moving I have checked the cables they are fine the actuators will hold the wheel from turning after manually adjusting them but the lever that actuates the cam in the actuator doesn't seem to be working. Could the lever be bent or broken on both sides. Everything seems to be in working order and shoes are not worn out. Only thing I cant figure out is why the lever isn't operating the actuator assembly. Thank you for your time

Hello,

It is possible that the front cable is stretched and need to be replaced. As you press the pedal it is not engaging due to not having proper tension.

The cables could need adjusting. Unless of course they are just too stretched to be able to successfully adjusted.

I have attached the complete parking brake cable and adjustment diagrams below.
