Radio and CD player stopped working!

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox. The radio broke almost a year ago. One day it was fine and then it got static and then sno sound came out. The display will still tell me what is playing, but I can't hear anything. The CD player also doesnt work. What could be wrong??

Check the built-in amplifier and also check all fuse behind the unit
