The car temp gets extremely high with the temp light on as over heating when the heat is on and the blower is on high.
As soon as I turn the blower off then on low, the temp drastically reduces to "normal" per my gauges.

Is the engine actually getting that hot? If not, I think there is a ground issue causing excessive power to get to the gauge. Check body grounds.

Honestly don't know if the engine is getting that hot. I'm just going off my gauges and temp light on. As soon as I turn the heat off, light goes off and gauge temp drops to normal.

It doesn't sound like it is actually overheating, My guess is there is a ground issue or there is a short to power that is allowing power to come and go and causing the issue with the temp gauge under those circumstances.
