electric front seats stop working, but the heater in the seats still work.fuse shows ok .... what causes the seats to not go back and forth

It could be a few things. Check to see if there is power to the switch. Check the switch to see if it is putting out power. If it is, there is a problem with the motor itself, If there is no power out, then the switch is bad.
