2005 Chevrolet Cobalt Yes Chevy Whenever Drive Come Complete Stop Idles

Yes I have a 2005 Chevy cobalt and whenever I drive it and come to complete stop or idles it hessitates and/or dies. When it dies I go to restart it it'll crank then dies again. Also when I go to start it there is a shuttle rattle in the engine. What kind of problems am I having?
