Sometimes the clutch pops out of 1st gear after sitting at a stop light for a few seconds, and sometimes I have a hard time getting it into 1st gear. A burnt, gassy or coolant smell comes after you drive it for about 20-30 min with the heat on, and the same smell comes right when you turn the car off. Just replaced the ignition module and the spark plugs that go along with it. Also, sometimes the car doesn't turn over right away when starting it, or it needs some gas for it to turn over. Every time it starts, the rpms shoot up, then slowly come back down to a normal idling level. Checked the battery, alternator, and starter, and all checked good. Any help or advice is welcome, thanks!

Sounds like you have a clutch problem here-slipping problem starting problem could be the idle air control valve
