I read your response regarding the loss of sound in an srx. I have the same issue. I have checked the fuses and both are ok. I'll try the battery trick tomorrow. I was interested in the door chime comment, though, no chime, no crackle, not a sound, but all features of the radio (display, change functions, CDs load..) all work fine...

Does the left front door speaker work? All chimes and signal sounds go through the radio and come out of the LF door speaker. It can be a speaker issue or radio
