On my 2005 Cadillac escalade ESV, left turn signal works fine but when turn on right one the brake light and left signal also flash. When I press the brake pedal the lights stay on solid rather than flash. The hazard also causes all lights including brake light to flash and stay on solid when I press the brake. I have checked all the bulbs and sockets and they appear ok. Please help. Thanks

Check your bulbs on the right side, one of them may be contacting the other filament. This happens quite often also try replacing your flasher unit then check grounds to lights on right hand side.

I have checked the bulbs and sockets and even swapped out different bulbs and that didn't work. I checked the grounds and they seemed ok. I haven't replaced the flasher because its a $76 part and wanted to see if it could be other things before guessing and replacing it. Do you have diagrams for the wiring and grounds so I can make sure I checked all of them! Is there any way to test the flasher! Would a bad flasher cause the above problems!

Here is apic of the ground where it connects but also check your trailer harness for touching someplace as well as the junction block which should be on the left side of frame on rear crossmember, the right side has a harness that plugs into that so you may have corrosion or it'snot hooked up very well. There should be 4 plugs if memory serves me right, check the multi function switch with a test light to make sure power is going in and out of it when t/s are on. Also check the rt turn fuse in left dash fuse block as that may be your problem as well
