How do I replace a reverse light on a 2005 Deville?

in the trunk there may be a cover for the tailights, it's heldo n by a few screws then a few scres hold the tailight on, remove those pull th tailight, and twist out the reverse bulb. how ever thes may be LCD lights and it may require the whole assembly being replaced.
