I was having a rough ride in my CTS so I decided to replace my struts with new Monroe Struts. For about a week the ride was fantastic, then it went right back to being rough, driving on washboard gravel feels like someone is hitting the bottom of the car with a hammer.

check sway bar links and sway bar bushings.
