Problem codes

I had my car scanned with an OBD II scanner and the following codes came up... U1000 Class 2 Data Link Malfunction..., U1016 Loss of communication with PCM..., P0430 Bank 2 low efficiency..., and P0496 High purge flow. Where do I start to see exactly what the problem is and would these be things that I could fix myself..?

I would think you should bring it it somewhere to have it looked at. the U1000 codes are communication codes saying that certain modules aren't talking properly. You could have a low battery, need a reprogram have a wiring or connector problem. As for the other codes, o2 sensor problem and purge solenoid. It will require further diagnosis with the proper tools to diagnose these issues.
