My 2005 buick terrazza blows cool warm air only when temps here are -15 or worse. It is more like on the cool side of supposed heat. I have changed the thermostat with no difference in change of temp. Put a 195 in. I really would like to get hot heat from this but to no avail. I have tried an air lock removal from the cooling system. The only time I get any possible heat is when my engine revs at 2500 to 3000 rpm idling with my foot on gas or driving down road. Was thinking maybe my blend door? Don't know what to check next!

It might be belt slipping at idle not supplying enough power recommended replacement for belt and tensioner is 60k. It sounds like a blend door but if it works ok at higher rpm it may be not getting enough power.

I will definitely get a new belt. Is the tensioner a difficult job or big job to replace.

Well im not saying its the belt but worth a try. The tensioner is only one or two bolts that hold it. You can go on the site for belt diagrams and it will show you how to run yours correctly
