Front seat heater does not appear to work although switch indicates it is on

Check the voltage from the switch to see if it is producing 12+ volts.

Probably bad heating element. Or thermistor dead. Usually heating element wire brakes where it is connected to power feed wire. You can disasemble seat cover and try re-solder connection. You can test element first at plug for resistance.
