2005 Buick La Crosse Blower fan

My blower motor hadn't worked for weeks. Today the blower fan just started on its own and will not turn off. Even after the keys are removed. now my battery runs down and I need a boost to crank the car. How can I turn the blower fan off?

there is a tsb on this 05-01-39-001a is the number. A capacitor has to be installed and maybe a control head depending if it's damaged or not. Call Buick on the 800 number they may fix at partial cost.
