Hi I have a problem with putting my belt back on my Buick last crosse. I just changed the alternator on it and the belt is to loose what can I do

move tensioner in direction of lower arrow and reinstall belt as seen in pic. if replacing belt tensioner should be replaced as well.

MAYBE YOU WERE ROUTING THE BELT OVER THE PULLEYS WRONG?
IF BY CHANCE YOU BOUGHT A NEW BELT, MAYBE IT WAS THE WRONG ONE FOR YOUR APPLICATION
