I bought this car last Feb and didnt havet he need for the heater, well now its getting cold and I tried to turn on the heat and its only cold air. I am not sure what is going on its set at 90 degrees and still nothing. Now the heated setas work but thats about all. I want to take it to the dealership but I know they are going to charge a lot just to diagnose.

Lets see if we can diagnose where the problem is coming from. Start the engine and let it get to operating temp. Turn the heater on high. Next, feel both heater core hoses. Are they getting hot?

There will be two heater hoses (about 1 in in dia.) running to the firewall under the hood.
