lazy kickdown

2005 530 d with 82k miles. just found that when engine is warm, the gearbox will not kick down, it is sluggish and stays in the gear longer before selcting the next when changing up. could this be a gearbox oil problem. have reset the gearbox software without joy. if car cools down it is normal.... Car serviced 6,000 miles ago and BMW check all ok
