2005 BMW 525i Fuel pressure regulator

Trying to locate my fuel pressure regulator on my 2005 525i bmw. My car takes awhile to start as if im out of fuel on a cold start. Also if the car has been sitting for approx 20min after being driven.

the regulator should be on the fuel rail. I would recommend that you check fuel pump pressure to see if it drops off quickly when the engine is shut off. It sounds like the pump has to reprime itself.
