BMW cutting out only once every time it starts for the first time

Hello I have a BMW 3.18 2.0 n46
Car is in limp mode.
Hard to start, turns over 5/6 times before it fires up.
Code p0014 b Camshaft Position "B" - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1).
Firstly may I add that my catalytic converter broke into pieces blocking my exhaust. New one fitted.
Car does not misfire, seems to run fine apart from max 3000rpm. Sometime it start up first time and drives as normal. While driving, within the first 5 minutes it will cut out and go into limp mode with hard start.
Today I changed the exhaust camshaft sensor and there I NO difference. Thx

It's a BMW 3 series 318ci
2.0ltr, 4 cylinder 2005 n46 engine convertible.
It's a 318i with a 2. Litre engine
