it cranks over fine on a fully charged battery but wont fire. Any suggestions please?

First be sure you're using the correct key, then tow it to the dealer to have various computers unlocked. BMW is one of the least customer-friendly manufacturers in this regard. They do not release repair information to anyone other than the dealers.
