headlight randomly goes dark, but comes on when turn switch off and then back on. Because it goes back on I feel the light bulb is good,
and I am leaning towards a connection or switch. Any suggestions based on your experiences? Thanks

Most likely to be the switch that is faulty. Next time it occurs, try the dimming function to see if it works. Could be due to fuses and relays too.
