Battery drain

So you did not see any drop on the voltage drain reading with any of the fuses?

What reading did you see? And was the door open or the key switched on?

For the most part twelve volts. But no the car door was not open nor was the key in the ignition.

Something is not right then. You should not get a twelve volt reading. Maybe one or two at the most.

I should I not get a twelve volts reading from the battery? I had one probe on the terminal and the other on the cable and it was giving me that reading.

No, the only voltage that you should get should be the drain on the battery.

Try it exactly as it is explained in step 3, including the fifteen minute wait time.
