I bought my car a few days ago privately and everything was fine until yesterday when I started having problem with the clutch. Car not revving properly in idle.I checked underneath and I notice a couple of leak patches. But nothing on the floor.I presume I need a new clutch but I hope that's all.

Yes it sounds like you need a new clutch. Make sure you replace the pressure plate and release bearing as well. Also inspect the flywheel, especially if it's dual mass. It may be in your best interest to replace it as well.
