2004 Vauxhall Astra steering

2004 VAUXHALL ASTRA

Power steering keeps going. Have replaced alternator and steering pump but still not working. I tapped on the brain today and I could hear the pump kicking back in. What could this be?

Sounds like you have a loose connection. I would check all the connectors and wiring and make sure have no opens or shorts in the wiring including poor connections.
