2004 Vauxhall Astra my car seems to spin

Hi there, i serviced my car last December previous to the annual MOT. A couple of time, in particular after it has been raining and i am driving up a hill i have notice the car sort of spins.. i have done nothing so far. Would this be a symptom i need new tires?

If you are losing traction on wet roads, yes, that would be an issue with the condition and quality of the tires.
