engine icon when running?

Recently i am facing trouble at my rear brake system. when i put my car on hand brake mood for few hours or days then it blocked.??

My meter board also showing then engine icon when i m running.now how could i know what the problem and how can i repair and what to check????

If the check engine light is on, go to Autozone and they will read the codes for you for free, write them down and post here.

Check the handbrake cable and brake shoes for the brakes sticking. If the wheel cyliders are leaking, the rear brakes would stick.
