I am tying to add Refrigerant to my 2004 Toyota 4Runner; but, the Refrigerant will not go in because to Compressor Clutch is not engaged. How can I get the Compressor Clutch to engage?

Locate the low pressure cutoff switch on the line going into the firewall. It should have two wires in the connector. Jumper those with a paper clip. You can also pop the cover off the clutch relay, reinstall the relay, and squeeze the contact.

If the refrigerant still goes in slowly when the compressor is running, place the can upright in a pot of hot water.
