2004 Suzuki Xl7 Clicking Comming Rear Wheel Took Off Able Move Hub Anddown Wrong

I have a clicking coming from the rear wheel so I took the wheel off and am able to move the hub up and down. What is wrong? Wheel bearing?

hub bearing has failed. needs to be replaced.
