enter your question...I have a 2004 Impreza Outback Sport.
It has an 4 speed automatic transmission.
I changed the fluid and filter.
I shifted from 1st to 2nd, and 3rd with the brake on so I could make sure I had enough fluid. When shifting there's a sound that's like a little electric motor.
What happened?

With out hearing the noise it is rather hard to make a call on it, with these problems you are better off getting a mechanic to listen to it first hand, just re check the fluid with the trans hot and in neutral at idle.
