Driving car fine all of a sudden car cut out water spewing out underneath smoking under bonnet wouldn't start filled it with water but it was just draining out and bubbling like crazy

You first need to do a coolant system pressure test to see if you have an external leak, this is a quick and simple test any mechanic can do, you may have to get the car towed in if the over heating is sever, you need a pressure tester to do this job, not a tool that home mechanics would normally have.
