continuous squealing noise from engine which stops when the air conditioning is turned on. Have not used air conditioning in months, noise started the day after using air con. noise goes away when air con is turned on and air con is blowing cold air and working fine. Timing belt, fan belt water pump all replaced last year.

The belts may be slipping, get them checked for tension, new belts can stretch and start to slip, once re tensioned they are normally ok, this if for manually adjusted belts only and not timing belts.
