I have a Renault grand espace 2.2dci 2004 reg going down the motorway had a sudden loss of power like the car was holding back pulled over engine temp went right up oil light came on and stop on dash light looked steam and water was fizzing from water reservoir.

This was a reconditioned engine apparently only done 35000 car shell has done 95000 garage says its the turbo but i think they are trying to dodge doing the warranty repair added a pic of the mayo type stuff in water res before engine went. also after it did go there was the mayo stuff all over the oil filler cap too?

THe picture looks clean. Usually when you get oil mixed with coolant, you get what you described, a creamy substance that is whiteish in color. That usually indicates a bad head gasket.
