Car jumped time do i need to be concerned about bent valves

If it jumped time and died the yes if it just jumped time and ran bad then not.

Nope. The 2.2L is not listed as an interference engine. It uses a timing chain, so if that jumped, replace the tensioning devices and chain guides too.
