Unable to remove crossover exhaust pipe to replace thermostat,
which Idiot engineered this engine?
Fuel gauge pointer resting @ temp gauge pointer,
Temp pointer stuck @ 250 degrees F, engine running normal, not overheated
Radio display defective, no indication whatsoever,
This vehicle appears to be nothing less that a typical Proudly-made-in-USA-by-Union-Labor
LEMON!
I will never, ever again buy a Pontiac Montana or any other GM piece of detritus!

well you can't buy the Montana anymore anyhow.if the gauge is stuck at 250 check the cooant temp sensor, not the carmakres fault that an 8 yr old car has problems. check fuse for radio and then see if it needs a code if it does try last 4 of vin number. Union labor only put s the car together nothing more they dont' design them. besides you have 190,000 miles on it . sensor is item 8 in pic you dont' need to pull crossover to get it out.
