awful sound under the dashboard, blend door actuator?

When I turn the heat on in the car , the car has an awful sound under the dashboard that sounds as if the dashboard is going to burst!!!! The cars heater still works, The car does not overheat. Please give me advice on how to fix this problem I am having. I have owned this car for 4yrs now and the only problems I have had in the past is the thermostat replacement twice.

Does it sound like there is a constant knock that lasts about 15 seconds?

Yep, I have seen one of the blend door actuators strip its gears which makes a loud noise, you will need to find which one is making the noise though here are the locations so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
