I have to change my brake pads every 6 months

Do you do a lot of city driving, what kind of pads are you using. If you are using the cheapest possible pads, they will wear out quicker. Get some with ceramic in them and they will last longer. Also the conditon of the rotors plays a factor and are your calipers seized?
