Look at plugs wires and coils first, then compression.

also check for vacuum leaks, fuel pressure low, dirty fuel filter. Your fuel pressure should be 52-59 psi

Yeap! Sounds like it could be a broken wire or bad plugs, if it's bogging down and lack of power, good chance of bad wires or both. The back bank of wires are good for this, a lot of heat build up in this area along the fire wall. I had this on my 96 grand prix.(Bad wires) You might also check the fuel injector.
