I have to admit, I'm not too familiar with this model. However, I will try to help. When it dies, does it restart or do you have to wait? Does the vehicle have a factory security system? Has the check engine light come on?

Hi when the car starts I need to keep her on a rev in order to keep her running, sometimes she will start immediately other times she will back fire a lot. The alarm is a aftermarket. When the vehicle cuts off the light will come on but when running light stay off. Hope this is enough info for now because I'm not sure what to check next.

I would recommend checking for vacuum leaks as well as checking the idle air control valve (IAC) The IAC is responsible for maintaining the engine idle.

Let me know what you find.
