i have a 2004 Alero and i thnk put too much oil onto it. I drained the oil out and filled it to regular level. when i press on my gas peddel it has to be pushed almost all the way in. may i have of damaged any parts or elect. parts or sys.?

Has to be pushed all the way in to do what? To get the engine to start? To make it accelerate? To drive at highway speed?
