Trans is slipping briefly at highway speeds then stops

Not consistent but I can watch the tach jump 1500 tons. Fluid isn't burnt It hasn't happened a lot. But is acting up move often

it wont get any better or stay the same. check the fluid. beyond that, you may need a shop to determine the failure.

i assume it is an automatic. if not, then you have a clutch slipping and will require replacement.
